Using Flipper as and NFC read connected to the PC

I read ( Catching up on September progress (flipperzero.one)) that one of the feature of FZ would be being used as and NFC reader, for apps using libnfc.
There’s this thread Looking for better NFC chip than PN532 - NFC - Flipper Zero Community but nothing recent.
Which is the status of this? Will FZ be used as a pass through reader?

Hallo,
The thread you are referring to was based on the very early prototype of the Flipper Zero which back then was based on a raspberry zero and an arduino head…

I do not know which NFC Chip is placed within the final flipper zero archtecture.

We’ve decided that libnfc passthrough would not be viable with our ST25R3916 chip and scrapped the idea, sadly
