Just installed Qflipper and it’s giving me a system error on opening
vcruntime140_1.dll was not found
have tried re downloading the install and re-installing but to no avail

Missing dll files can happen for lot’s of reasons. I suspect yours was accidentally deleted or improperly installed. Here is a better link because it’s directly from Microsoft.

Try the following from the link I provided but instead of “Bullguard” run “Qflipper” afterward. Please let us know if this helps.
perform this procedure:
Open Command Prompt in the taskbar and click on Run as administrator
Type: sfc /scannow
and hit Enter
Wait for the procedure to be completed and present the results
Restart your system and try to load Qflipper

reinstalling the visual c++ libraries fixed it
