Should we have a place for all the IR discussions?
Just an idea I had was to use an IR laser diode instead of the stock IR LED. Could give much longer ranges to play with infra red controls. Have a switch in the IR blaster program so that it routes the data instead to a GPIO pin so that a laser can be powered and triggered off of it?
