If Flipper is to be used to talk to other Flipper units, would it be advisable to have the communication between the units encrypted so as to prevent snooping? It could be as simple as a mode selection in a menu.
If such a mode were enabled, it would be trivial to exchange keys with another unit using the onboard NFC, or even just a randomly generated number that is displayed on the screen for both operators to verify that it is the correct key.
