Using a USB hub cleared my progress(passport) data


It seems a not so successful firmware update wiped my cyber-dolphin process data. Actually, I think it completely reset the device because other settings were reset to default too. The flipper zero device actually still works fine.

I connected the Flipper Zero to my PC through a USB hub. I guess that is the culprit.

Have I completely lost my cyber-dolphin progress?

Yeah, sadly, it looks like qFlipper failed to restore your device’s internal storage backup, that happens sometimes when you use faulty cables or indirect connections like extenders or USB hubs :frowning:

alright, I will remember to avoid using the hub again. I wonder what the hub is actually good for? Only USB flashdrive?

Also input devices like keyboards and mice should be OK to use through a hub
